For some reason i forgot that chinese new year celebrations happened this morning until some people reminded me. I've thought that the whole day was a holiday on which i've spent it by hanging out with my friends.-.-Anyway the celebrations were quite fun. Basically, we stoned on the 3rd floor of the right wing while the performances went on. Val and siyuan were playing five stones while i was snapping shots of yichan, mel and shaoying. After that, we had the street market. I think our class had the weirdest stall. We had a garage sale, which everyone brought stuff to sell: ranging from flag erasers to plushies. Prices were negotiable and we had pretty much fun bargaining with the "customers". And we were selling hugs and kisses. Hugs for $0.50, kisses varying prices with varying people. Wilson was selling his kisses for $1, damn cheap but i think no one bought. Lol wonder why. I think yuwei was selling fortune-telling for $0.10. Surprisingly, 1/4 of our earnings came from hugs, kisses and fortune-telling. Ok maybe not kisses, i think none was bought. Went to meet rv dancers at plaza sing after cny celebrations. Once again, we ate at hong kong cafe. It has become a tradition: to celebrate our birthdays at hong kong cafe. Lol. Walked around to buy more food after eating, met up with edison and hanxie. Watched e.g's reaction to hanxie's choice of new year clothes. haha she seriously can consider the future of a personal stylist. After which we went to springfield and the girls looked through the clothes. I was amused at the conversation going on between hanxie and edi. They were trying to differentiate mini skirts and tubes, and questioning the way to wear tubes. Like wth??? LOL. Then we headed over to cathay, where half of us went to catch a movie while the other half of us stayed and chatted before setting off to our various destinations. We had a very relaxing get-together instead of those crazy times we had in the past. I think we've all matured. =D Happy birthday to zijia! |
