LOL i spotted something interesting on my way to school today. As usual i was listening to my music and looking at random stuff through the window when this advertisement at a bus stop near the pheonix lrt station caught my eye. It says

" 19% of the people in Choa Chu Kang make love with their lights out".

I went o.O, literally and nearly laughed out loud. Seriously, how the hell would they know. Spying? Or did they go door to door in cck to conduct a survey? Anyway i think it was an advertisement for the sale of table lamps placed beside your bed or something. I shan't say which company it is since i'm not sure if i've seen it wrongly. I'll definitely take a picture of it when i get the chance to. It's just too hilarious to miss it.

SLOW DANCE - David L. Weatherford

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask
How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"Hi"
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.

The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift.....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower

Hear the music

Before the song is over

I'm bored. Sigh, I've been spamming animes, mangas and novels to pass time. >.< Just changed my blogskin, decided to keep it simple. Or maybe it's because i'm not in the mood of anything fanciful. I need to find something to do(besides going to school for ccas). TT

Modern had an outing yesterday=DD. It felt more like an extended lunch after dance practice actually but we spent a relaxing afternoon together. We went to caroline's house for lunch and gossiped much at the table, then our rest of the day was spent in her home theatre. Watched 2 movies : the notebook and center stage.

Some of us bawled during the notebook, not going to say who. But seriously, put yourself in noah's shoes: after 7 years of separation and sorrow, you and your loved one have finally reunited, spent few decades together and BAM! Dementia caused her to forget you. You try everyday to help her remember what yall have had together but when you have your hopes high, she reacted violently once again, claiming that she doesn't know you. You're the only one left with all the fond memories. I won't be able to stand that.
The notebook was also supposedly an emotional romance. However, for some reason, we ended up spotting weird stuff like wrong subtitles and nitty witty features, thus succeeding in turning the movie into a comedy. Oh and we also found out what char does at home. Haha.

As for center stage, we woahed at all the imba moves. We found an imba-nianci guy. Basically our reaction was quite dramatic throughout the show. The show made me think a lot.=)

Later in the night we headed to far east for dinner, which we went shopping after that. I think the highlight of the shopping would be the doraemon shirt with the teeny weeny protruding nose. Headed home then while the rest returned for the sleepover. TT

The day was fun, wish it had never end.
My feet are coming apart.TT

Today's another day spent in school. Seriously, I'm spending more time in school than i do at home.

I was supposed to have intensive dance practice today but due to my not-yet-recovered ankle injury, i can't go TT. Damn my left ankle. Thus i went for chouwei meeting which doesn't require much of my ankle. The meeting was very short, near 1.5 hours? Then the daodu had to go practise kaisheng. Ok i have a feeling many do not understand what i'm saying but...whatever. lol. So we went to clock tower initially and we realised it wasn't allowed, thus shifted to high school concourse. Hence if you happened to walk past high school at around 2-3pm on 10 november 2008, and heard shoutings, do not fear, it must be us. haha. The rest of chouwei came to join us. I must say i pity jon lee and karen, since they had to endure jasper singing and dancing sexyback all the way from lep room to the high school concourse.

Went to have linner at cineleisure after that ( lunch + dinner = linner). I was feeling so guilty since i was supposed to be at dance, if it wasn't for my stupid ankle. Sensei specifically asked me to rest for a few days after my 2nd consultation on sunday. >.< Anyway the guys went to play pool while the girls and jon lee went to shop at taka for more food. We also went to take a look at the subaru car challenge. 2 words: no life. The cars are quite cheap actually but i guess this challenge serves as entertainment to them. If i have nothing better to do in future, i might go try. Torture yourself, with 5 minutes of break after every six hours and no sleep for few days and nights.

And we had an interesting encounter. I shan't elaborate much here but it involves many balloons.=P

Went back to school for another meeting at 6.30, ended and thus i'm here at home, trying to think of something to do once again...-.-

Oh because i was so bored, i decided to lend jon quek a helping hand and tagged all the fac outing photos. Haha i bet he has nearly 80 notices now.

And to clarify, since people have been asking, i wasn't angry or pissed off that day. Also i did not storm off in anger, i just merely went to pick up a call at a quieter place. peace=)

The athena faculty event has come and passed. I would say it's one of the most successful faculty event we've been (not that we've been to many). It may just be a simple steamboat with class, but the event was very interactive. We had games that are very simple yet entertaining, photo taking sessions, song dedications and all. Overall, kudos to the athena faculty committee!! =D

Our class was quite imba. After eating steamboat, we ordered 6 extra large pizzas from canadian. Then, inspired by 6N, who was telling ghost stories at our class bence, we decided to have our own SCREAM and went for a night walk at high school. Well, it wasn't really scary. The most exciting part(to me) was ruining the couple's time outside "the kiddy room". As for the rest of the walk, it was mainly just heading towards the third gate.

Hmm i think i shall just stop here and continue reading stephenie meyer's..=)

Today is so not my day. Let's just start from the beginning.

We had pw trial this morning in school and let's say that it is not a screw up at all. There were still some coordination problems. The slides have to be improved alot, which is currently what i'm working on. I have to work on my speech, my pronunciation of ( dippers and dipples -.-). My credit and effort was claimed, along with a victory dance. Woots. Basically i ended pw with fury. I'm feeling quite sorry for zhiyang since i scolded him like twice since i've seen him in the morning. Ask the ones present at the class bench. I was pretty frustrated already with all the changes and well, he was there at the wrong time and place, talking about the wrong stuff. My apologies! But actually, it was quite funny with the original, crispy and extra crispy thing. I spout weird stuff when i'm irritated, especially with lame people around me.

Talking about lame, i'm literally "lame". My ankle wasn't feeling right since i woke up and just when i did pirouettes....fuck. Ooh..put ankles and fuck together and you get an... ANKLE SPRAIN!! I totally abhor my left ankle now. It sucks man. And it wasn't into half of the training and i had to sit at the side watching them do routines while nursing my fucked-up ankle. I wish i can change my ankle. Knowing that my ankle will definitely not allow me to dance for the rest of the day, i left to see a sensei. And someone up there definitely has something going against meT_T :

1. It was raining and my slippers ain't exactly slip-proof, which means i had to exert an extra strength to prevent myself from falling. And the soil remnants and puddles of water on the ground did not help either. I was disgusted. Also i had to carry an umbrella, but ending up walking in the rain cos it was too troublesome. Thus i was drenched and it wasn't a short route.

2. Sarah left her shoe bag behind so i had to bring it home for her. Not blaming her=)) but ya, another baggage besides my laptop and bag full of clothes and an umbrella in hand.

3. The nearest bus stop from the sensei was what, a few kilometres away? What the hell. With my injured ankle, it was torture walking on the slippery side-walks in the rain, crossing numerous traffic lights, travelling up "slippery slopes" looking like some damsel in distress.

4. After the consultation, I had to walk even further than before as the nearest bus stop for the return journey is even further. WTFFFFF.... Bt panjang sucks big time >.<.

5.Then i received an sms from my sister that i had to buy tomorrow's breakfast on my way home.( i had not told them about my situation). Thus i had to go lot 1 to buy breakfast, yet another thing added onto my hands.

6. Oh, the escalator to that floor at lot 1 broke. -.- i had to walk manually dwn the escalators.

I think 6 points are enough to make my day hellish. The consultation wasn't easy and painless either. Had i been one who screams, i think people over at pasir ris could hear me. But nope, i held it in even though it was uber painful. The sensei was cold and merciless T_T

Reached home and my mum scolded me. Surprise surprise. She said i can be the spokeperson of the sensei.-.- My sister laughed at me.

Pending overseas trip to genting with dancers. I hope it succeeds and i'll be left to the job of persuading my mom. First round was held at the dinner table just now. Result: FAILED =(
Well as Boxer from Animal Farm always says : " I will work harder"

p.s I might not be able to get well by class outing. How great things turn out this way huh.

fuck.

( the word "fuck" is essential to bring across my emotions through this post. Please excuse the use of this word and DON'T SAY I'M VULGAR!! You know who you are, king ant >.<)

Time is slipping through our fingers and it bothers me alot that we can never find a time to stop and take a breather. There's always something for us to complete, for us to solve, datelines to meet, and when we've done all that, new problems arises. Is this what life is about? Like geez...after a few decades attending school, we immediately go into work till 62 years old ( if it's still valid ) and if we are filthy rich by then ( most likely not), go tour around the world in our oh-so-strong-and-healthy bodies. Is that even possible? A sad life we have. Maybe all of us are just puppets controlled by someone above, borned to this world for his entertainment and fun.>.<

Been reading random posts. It has come to me that people become more emo nearing the end of the year and we do lots of reflections intentionally or subconciously. Well tomorrow will be better=) Smiles

I just broke my record by waking up at 3.30pm this afternoon.-.-
I'm dreading the arrival of next week. T_T
