In just a few hours' time, the year 2008 is coming to an end, bringing us into 2009.

Looking back at 2008, it has been a pretty great year for me. Going to a brand new school at the start of the year wasn't easy and i was quite uncertain of what lies ahead initially. New people, new cca, new teachers, a whole new environment. I guess i'm what some of my friends call: a late bloomer. I wasn't much of an enthusiast, quite dao at first but i'm glad things worked out.

In 2008, i'm happy to say that i've made many great friends, entered great ccas, enjoyed myself in everything i do.
Orientation 1 and 2 which i had tremendous fun,
Dance auditions which i have no idea where i found the courage to go alone
黄城夜韵2008 where i got to know many people
Dance night 2008 Shake! which i spent time doing something i have passion for
Tapestry 2008 which was a brand new experience for me
Blocks and promos which was i don't know, great mugging time?
PW which taught me to appreciate when life was so much better
Dance camp! which was one of the best camp i've ever been to.

I'm also glad to say that i've become a better person. Well in opinion, yes. I think i've fulfiled my resolution for 2008 made on the 31 december 2007.

In the upcoming 2009, i know it's going to be a damn busy year for me. I've no idea how i'm going to manage but i'm going to.

My resolution for 2009: To enjoy every single day of my last year of school life in hwachong.=D

It's been ages since i've blogged something decent. All my recent posts have been so superficial and meaningless that it seems that i'm blogging for the sake of blogging.

The MAD camp has come and gone. Honestly speaking, it's one of the best camps, maybe the best i've ever been to. Not exaggerating. It wasn't very complicated, just a simple camp and yet i enjoyed myself more than i had in past camps. The atmosphere was great, i could spend the whole two days with people who shared the same passion for dance and it was just loads and loads of fun.

The lessons were actually quite interesting. Although i didn't play much of the games, but it was enjoyable looking at them eating all the disgusting food, foaming their hair, getting their faces into whip cream and watermelon. Ciphering was ok. It's slightly different from free-styling with the restraints in space and people looking at you. Oh well, at least i went in once even though i had no idea i did. It was a refreshing experience. Showcase, we just went impromtu at the back and the choreographing part was just amusing. Gifts exchange was hilarious with people snatching presents from one another.

Yup everything was pretty cool. =DD

It finally dawned on me that there is a great number of foreign workers in this country and it's traumatising. It's terrifying when you're stuck on a bus filled with tons of male foreign labourers on your way to school or home in the middle of the night. We fear them yet the country needs them. What a dilemma.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERYL LOH !! =DDD

haha today, the "cheryl's surprise birthday squad" which comprises of eunice.g,eunice.t,nat,fel,jinghui,zijia,huixuan,dawn,munhan,me,chenda and jiayi met at bb mrt station at 8.45am(!!!) for her birthday surprise. Well.. not me, i reached at 8.51am with dawn but it was still early=) Anyway it wasn't a good start at first. One, we waited quite long for a bus at the interchange that will never come. Didn't realise until this lady came and tell us that there's no service. Then we found out that cheryl's awake already. Our initial plan was to ambush her in her bedroom while she was sleeping and take unglam photos/videos of her. sigh apparently she had already suspected our actions and prepared herself for it. Hence we ended up ambushing her outside her toilet and "surprised" her with the spray cans and all. Actually she was pretty calm (contrary to what we expected->screams and omg's), it was eunice.g who did most of the screamings and jinghui getting high over spraying cheryl. lol

Then after eating the cake and cleaning up, we spent our time camwhoring(some of us only) in her bedroom which was so princess-ish(if such word exists) and her living room with random stuff as props while she went to shower. A few had to go off while the rest headed over to cineleisure for lunch and movie next. We had a nice time reminiscing/gossiping/listening over lunch, which was pretty good. Oh and we took really really weird pictures, like us advertising for our foods. if i can, i shall upload them next time.=D After lunch, we did something really traumatising.....WE TOOK NEOPRINTS. I think after this experience, all of us agree that we are too old for neoprints. Eunice.g was very traumatised and disgusted while the rest of us felt weird and awkward in the machine. To think just last year, we created so many poses for neoprints and today, we just took..normal ones.hee

Did random shopping before going to the movie. The movie was called "Wild Child". As usual, i had no idea what that movie was about till the very last minute. BUT at least i was better than cheryl, she asked me for the name of the show while we were already seated.:X The show was quite nice. It was a chick flick and pretty much cheered me up amongst the numerous cca meetings i had for the past month and am still going to have for the following few months. It's a nice change some times to watch light hearted, heartwarming,humourous chick flicks than gore/horror/suspense/action pack.:)

And as usual, we did what girls do best- shopping. Since i'm not much of a shopper, i tagged along behind them while looking at them try out clothes. It really amazes me how girls manage to shop everywhere they go. One fine example would be yichan who bought a bag while we were on our way to Scream'08. 0.0 But it's quite fun looking at them. I was soooooo tempted to buy this pair of ginger breadman ear studs but it was quite ex.TT

One year has passed since i graduated from rv and we're now heading towards A'levels AGAIN. Time seriously slips through our hand. It'll be all mugging and cca next year and i'm feeling the stress already, especially when the list of topics for our block test next year is out. >.<>

Went to collect my passports at the ica building today. It was horrible, the waiting time that is. Reached there at 12.40 and i waited till 4.38 before i could collect mine. Yes i can remember the time correctly since i was fuming and checking my watch consistently. I wasted my whole day away-.-
